The Xiaomi Smart Band 8 had a huge success. After the initial China-exclusive launch, the fitness tracker eventually made it to the global market. And that made the band pretty popular among fitness enthusiasts. Well, if you skipped it for any reason, you would want to check out the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro.
As the name suggests, it’s the amped-up version of the regular Smart Band 8. The Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro gives you a bigger display, built-in GPS, loads of pre-loaded sports modes, 100 watch faces, and NFC for making wireless payments. Overall, the Pro version of the Smart Band 8 lives up to its name and offers significant improvements.
Main Highlights of Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro
One of the key highlights of the Smart Band 8 Pro is its beautiful display. It’s 1.74 inches in size and has a 336 x 480 px resolution. And as it’s an AMOLED screen, all the text and colors appear vibrant and sharp. Also, as the display sports a 60Hz refresh rate, navigating through the UI feels buttery smooth.
Moreover, the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro screen is brighter than its predecessor. It can get up to 600 nits, while the predecessor could only offer 500 nits of peak brightness. Thanks to that, you can view the texts on the screen a bit better in outdoor conditions.
