Realme GT5 – New Teasers Confirm the LED Lights on The Back And More

Realme has confirmed the launch of its new Realme GT5 flagship for August 28. The company is gradually building the hype for its handset with a couple of new teasers. Today, the brand revealed the design of the phone. It will bring three cameras on the back alongside the iconic LED light that made its debut with the Realme GT Neo5/ Realme GT3. This time around, the camera’s island spans from one side to the other. The result is a design similar to what Google has in its Pixel series.

The LED lights on the Realme GT5 will be used for a couple of things, but mainly for notifications. It’s an interesting feature that keeps Realme flagships original among a sea of similarly-specced flagships. Besides the Camera and LED, Realme has also confirmed other details about its new smartphone. While the phone keeps the duo of circles for the cameras, the LED rectangle now sits vertical. The image also confirms the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, SuperVOOC tech, and NFC.

Other Details Have Been Revealed

The Realme GT4 will introduce a 5,240 mAh battery with 240W fast charging. That’s the first time we san ee such arrangement on a smartphone. The battery is huge for today’s standards and will also charge in a couple of minutes thanks to the charging technology. The handset will also bring a SuperVOOC S power management chip that will keep the battery safe.

According to Realme CEO Wu Qi Chase, the new design arrives thanks to a “breakthrough glass tech in the mobile technology”. This will make the Realme GT5 the best-looking smartphone in the entire history of the brand. The phone’s hero color will be called “Flowing Silver Mirror” and will be a product of “hot forging glass curving”  for ultimate aesthetics.

Following the trend of other BBK Electronics (the conglomerate above Realme, OnePl, us, Vivo, and Oppo) brands, Realme will bring a separate display chip for optimal performance and smooth refresh rate. The handset will also come with 24 GB of RAM and 1 TB of Storage in the most powerful variant. It is worth noting that the  warm-up for a future Realme GT5 Pro. This one will launch later this year with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

Details about pricing and availability are yet to come from Realme. On August 28, the phone will launch in China, and a global release should come later.
