Today, OpenAI released a new ChatGPT product which takes care of the needs of enterprise users. This new product also offers better security and privacy for users. This is the ChatGPT Enterprise Edition. In its blog post, OpenAI said that ChatGPT Enterprise Edition provides unlimited fast access to the powerful GPT-4 model. It also enables deeper data analysis and helps brands to quickly grasp information and ask more complex questions to ChatGPT.
ChatGPT Enterprise Edition to offer higher security
Many brands use ChatGPT with concerns that their data will be used to train GPT-4 models. They also have concerns that sensitive user info may be revealed using the tool. In order to solve these problems, OpenAI said that users of ChatGPT Enterprise Edition have complete control and ownership of their own data. These data will not be used to train the GPT-4 model. In addition, OpenAI plans to introduce more features, such as allowing users to customise ChatGPT's knowledge of corporate data. Moreover, the company will also offer a ChatGPT Enterprise Edition pricing plan suitable for small teams.
According to OpenAI, this is ChatGPT's first enterprise product, independent of ChatGPT and ChatGPT Plus. Enterprises already using ChatGPT can choose to continue using the current product, or switch to ChatGPT Enterprise Edition to enjoy new features. OpenAI said it will admit as many enterprise users as possible in the coming weeks.
At present, many brands have developed various generative AI tools using OpenAI and GPT-4 models. But many connect GPT-4 models through APIs or cloud services. Many large brands already have their own model systems to protect their data from being used by the GPT-4 model. However, this may not be an easy task for a small company. Thus, this new launch from OpenAI will give small brands the same service. Recently, OpenAI also announced the opening of the custom fine-tuning function of the GPT-3.5 model. It allows users to customise ChatGPT based on specific tasks. This seems to be in preparation for larger-scale enterprise services.
