Apple discontinues iTunes Movie Trailers app and moves to Apple TV

Apple updated the iTunes Movie Trailers application today. The latest version number is version 2.0. In the update log, it was written: “iTunes Movie Trailers has been moved to the Apple TV application. Users can open the Apple TV App to watch the trailer”. This means that the company has officially discontinued its Tunes Movie Trailers app. Recall that this app was used to watch trailers for upcoming movies and TV shows. The app has been removed from the App Store and the accompanying Movie Trailers website is no longer available.

Nevertheless, the service is still available for users but it is now in the Apple TV app. So, Apple simply discontinued the standalone iTunes Movie Trailers app and moved it to the Apple TV app which is its new home.
