After all, they are the leaders in terms of performance.
Best Mid Range Phones As of August 2023
So, in the list shared by AnTutu, the top 3 positions are held by Redmi Note 12 Turbo, Realme GT Neo5 SE, and iQOO Neo7 SE. Now, you may be wondering how these phones compare. Let’s take a closer look.

Realme GT Neo 5 SE – The Runner-Up
Realme GT Neo 5 SE, released back in April of this year, achieved the second spot in the top 10 list of AnTuTu. However, there’s only a slight difference between the Redmi Note 12 Turbo and Realme GT Neo 5 SE. The GT Neo 5 SE scored 1,146,607 points in the benchmark, just 1,769 behind the Note 12 Turbo.
Seeing such a close performance shouldn’t be surprising, though. After all, both the Note 12 Turbo and the Realme GT Neo 5 SE come with Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 SoC. Also, you can get this mid range phone with up to 16GB of RAM, making it perfect for handling demanding tasks and multitasking.
Other notable specs of the Realme GT Neo 5 SE include a 6.74-inch OLED screen, a 64MP primary camera on the back, a 5500mAH battery, and a 16M camera on the front. You can learn more about this mid range phone on our in-depth coverage found here.
iQOO Neo 7 SE – The Dimensity Mid Range Champ
The third place on the list shared by AnTuTu is held by the iQOO Neo 7 SE. Unlike the first two devices, this mid range device comes with a Dimensity 8200 chipset. It’s basically the upper mid range SoC from MediaTek.
Nonetheless, the iQOO Neo 7 SE scores a whopping 949,742 points in the benchmark test. This score made this mid range phone edge out the Vivo S17 Pro and Oppo Reno 10 Pro 5G. They are in the fourth and fifth positions, respectively.
Regarding the specs, the main highlights of this mid range phone are a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen, up to 16GB of RAM, and a 5000mAh battery. It also features a 64MP primary camera on the back and a 16MP camera on the front. To read more about the iQOO Neo 7 SE, check out our in-depth coverage.
