The phone packs a potent punch with a whopping 16 GB of RAM. You’ll have the choice of two storage capacities: 512 GB or a massive 1 TB. According to the leak, the starting price is rumored to be around CNY8,999, which roughly converts to $1,231 or €1,150.

This new Huawei device is anticipated to be the flagship of the lineup, boasting a top-tier quad-camera setup on the back. The cameras are neatly arranged on a halo island, promising exceptional photography capabilities. And for those seeking the ultimate in design, Huawei is scrapping the “Porsche Design” series. But introducing the “RS Ultimate Design” variant, offering premium materials for those willing to splurge.

Gizchina News of the week

In the grand scheme of flagship phone prices, the Mate 60 Pro+ doesn’t come as a shocker. To put it in perspective, the previous Mate 50 Pro, which didn’t even have a Plus version, cost £1,200 in the UK or €1,200 in Continental Europe. However, it had only 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. It’s expandable by an additional 256 GB with an NM card.

As of now, the big question mark remains whether Huawei will release any of these phones beyond the borders of China. Smartphone enthusiasts around the world are eagerly awaiting official information on their global availability.

In summary, Huawei’s Mate 60 Pro+ is making waves with its powerful specs and premium options. While its price may seem high, it falls in line with flagship devices from other brands. Whether this new Huawei flagship will make its way to international markets is a tantalizing question that only time will answer.
