If you can recall, Xiaomi announced the Redmi Note 12 series back in October of last year. And we’re now in September, which means it’s pretty time for the successor. Well, Xiaomi has just confirmed that the Note 13 series will be landing soon. To be exact, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is pretty much ready to arrive this month.
As you can expect, the phone will be one of the higher-end devices in the Redmi Note 13 lineup. And Xiaomi’s latest announcement says the same thing. According to the latest official teasers, the phone will come with a souped-up MediaTek chipset and an ultra-high-resolution camera.
Initial Details of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro+
Xiaomi confirmed that the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will come with the Dimensity 7200 Ultra. This SoC is an upgraded 7200 chipset, geared to offer a flagship-grade experience. The chipset is on the 4nm platform, ensuring better efficiency and higher overall performance than the other mid-range chipsets.
Xiaomi has paired this flagship-grade mid-range chipset with a Samsung ISOCELL HP3 sensor. It’s a 200MP camera, which is one of the latest sensors from Samsung. With this, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ commemorates a three-way partnership with Samsung and MediaTek.

For those wondering, the Samsung ISOCELL HP3 is the same sensor that’s in the Honor 90 and Honor 90 Pro. And those devices are known for delivering crips, well-detailed, and rich images. So, you can expect a flagship-grade camera performance from the Note 13 Pro+. Check out the camera sample pictures I’ve attached below to get a better idea of the camera performance.
The rest of the specs of the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ are still unknown. And we don’t even have an exact launch date, as Xiaomi has only said, “See you this month.” But considering how well the Note 12 lineup is packed, the phone will likely offer great value for money. We’ll get you updated as more information regarding the device lands.
