In an effort to bolster security, WhatsApp has introduced an innovative feature that enables Android users to establish a passwordless passkey. This much-anticipated feature follows a successful beta testing phase conducted roughly a month ago.

Google has also jumped on the passkey bandwagon, revealing that they will be adopting passkeys as the default login method for personal accounts.

Creating a passkey is a straightforward process:

1. Navigate to your WhatsApp settings.
2. Tap on “Passkeys” and choose “Create a passkey.”
