Edifier Comfo Run Announced in China At ~$68

Edifier Comfo Run

Edifier, known to be a global brand that’s passionate about sound, has just dropped a new pair of headphones. Named Edifier Comfo Run, the pair of wireless headphones mainly targets sports enthusiasts.

While the Comfo Run is a pair of open-ear headphones, Edifier has kept the price low. The Bluetooth headphones launched in China with a 499 Yuan price tag. That converts to around $68. And even though it’s affordable, the headset is full of features.

Main Highlights of Edifier Comfo Run

As you can tell, the open-ear nature of the Edifier Comfo Run aims to make the headset extremely comfortable to use. And from my experience with the OpenRock S headphones, this type of headphones can truly tackle the comfort issue that most face with in-ear buds.

Color Options

To enhance the comfort to the next level, Edifier has integrated flexible ear hooks. These hooks are of nickel-titanium wire, promising a snug fit, even when you’re wearing glasses.

Alongside that, the open-ear design of the Edifier Comfo Run makes it a perfect choice for sports. Thanks to its design, you stay completely aware of your surroundings. To make you get fully energized during the exercise sessions, Edifier has utilized a robust driver setup.

Comfo Run Design

The sound setup of the Comfo Run features a 16.2mm PU + sheepskin paper dynamic driver. Edifier says that this driver can offer multi-layered, nuanced, and clear sound. And for having a specially crafted acoustic chamber, the headphones can direct sound directly to your ears. This will eventually reduce sound leakage too.

Game Mode

Other features of the Edifier Comfo Run include a battery life of up to 17 hours after a full charge. A fast-charging feature is available, which can offer 2 hours of playback with just a 15-minute charging session. And with Bluetooth 5.3, the headphones can deliver seamless and hassle-free connections. You also get IP55 water resistance and a game mode with a latency of up to 0.08 seconds.
