vivo has unrolled the curtains on its latest pair of True Wireless Stereo (TWS) buds, the vivo TWS Air2. As a successor of the TWS Air, the new model brings a good number of improvements to the table.
These improvements range from battery life to audio performance to connectivity. The TWS Air2 is currently available for purchase in China with a price tag of CNY150, which is around US$20. You can pick it up in black and white colorways.
Main Highlights of the vivo TWS Air2
Under the hood, the vivo TWS Air2 comes with 14.2 mm drivers. With DeepX 3.0 stereo sound and 3D spatial audio, these drivers can deliver exceptional sound clarity. And let’s not forget to mention that the buds excel in offering immersive 3D audio.
Connectivity-wise, the wireless earbuds come with Bluetooth 5.3. It’s the current leading Bluetooth standard in the wireless device market. And with it, the TWS Air2 can deliver SBC, AAC, and LC3 audio codecs. There’s an improved low-latency mode, which goes all the way down to 55 ms.
Gizchina News of the week
Like the predecessor, the vivo TWS Air2 comes with a semi-in-ear design. Such a design enhances comfort but can’t offer any Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). There are no silicon tips either. That means you won’t get any passive noise cancellation. This design mainly favors those who can’t find a good fit with in-ear earbuds.
Besides, the TWS Air2 can deliver great battery life. With the carrying case, you can get up to 30 hours of playtime. And as the buds come with an IP54 dust and water-resistant rating, you can safely take them with you for outdoor activities.
Overall, the vivo TWS Air2 earbuds are offering a lot for the money. However, vivo has not said anything yet regarding global availability. But we will get you updated when the brand says anything about international availability.
