The team over at Electronics Hub relied on the data from Phonesdata.com. From the data they have collected, the team ranked the phones with best battery life from the three major brands first. These brands are Xiaomi, Samsung, and Apple. Then, they also looked at other phone brands that deliver

Now, while the study may sound simple, the team did get into the details. For example, the study ranked the smartphone brands by the median battery charge capacity. Also, for each of the brands, the team calculated what chunk of models reside within specific brackets of mAh ratings.

Which iPhone has the Best Battery Life?

Looking back, the first iPhone came with a 1400 mAh battery. That allowed Steve Jobs to boast about the phone’s capability to deliver five hours of battery life. But now, iPhones with much bigger batteries have hit the market. Among the recently released phones, the iPhone 15 Pro Max has the best battery capacity.

As the study revealed, it sits at number 1 spot in the iPhone chart. And this eventually results in the phone bearing the best battery life title among iPhones. For context, the iPhone 15 Pro Max comes with a 4422 mAh battery, which can offer up to 14 hours of run time after a full charge.

On the other hand, the iPhone SE 2 has the worst battery life among all the iPhones released recently. It features an 1821 mAh battery, which is not that far from the original iPhone released 13 years ago. Which Samsung Phone Has the Best Battery Life?

Compared to Apple, Samsung releases a lot of phones each year. For example, it launched 56 different smartphones in 2014, which is a lot. A handful of models from Xiaomi tops the list in the test. If you strictly consider the battery life, the best battery life picks are:

Interestingly, the study didn’t include Samsung in the media battery life ranking. It’s likely because the team couldn’t get enough data to get a proper average battery rating.
