Oppo has unrolled the curtains on its latest mid-range lineup, the Oppo Reno11 series. Consisting of the standard and Pro versions, the two smartphones are a proper successor to the Reno10 devices.
To be exact, the new Oppo Reno11 smartphones bring many upgrades. These improvements range from chipset to design to cameras to battery capacity. As for now, the smartphones will be available in China, with the first open sale scheduled for November 25 for the standard and December 1 for the Pro model in China.
Oppo Reno11
The Oppo Reno11 stands as a proper mid-range device, featuring multiple upgrades over the Reno10. Here are the main highlights:
Screen
The vanilla Oppo Reno11 brings a 6.7-inch OLED screen on the front. This screen features a 1080p resolution and has support for 10-bit. These two will make the display offer a vibrant, lifelike, and detail-rich visual experience. The screen also has support for a 120 Hz refresh rate with a 240 Hz touch sampling rate. These will make every animation and the UI feel smooth and responsive.
There’s a fingerprint sensor under the screen of the Oppo Reno11. It also features curved sides to make it comfortable for the users to hold the smartphone.
Chipset, Storage, and RAM
Under the hood, the Reno11 comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset. It’s the same chipset that Oppo utilized in the Reno10 Pro. But considering that it’s now present in the vanilla device, it’s an upgrade over the predecessor. Thanks to this, the smartphone delivers smooth performance in most tasks and games.
As for storage, the Oppo Reno11 packs up to 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. These amounts of memory and storage are good enough for handling resource-intensive apps and large-sized files.
Camera Setup
On the front, the Oppo Reno11 comes with a 32 MP selfie shooter. It’s housed under a punch hole on the display. And on the back, the device features the Sony LYT600 as the primary camera. It’s a 50MP sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, OIS, and autofocus.
There are two other cameras on the back of the Reno11. Among them, there’s the 32 MP portrait cam, which features 2x optical zoon. The third camera is an 8 MP ultra-wide sensor featuring 112 degrees of FoV.
Battery, OS, and Other Features of Oppo Reno11
The battery capacity of the Oppo Reno11 saw an upgrade. It comes with a 4800 mAh cell, which is around 5% more than what the Reno10 came with. However, there’s a slight downgrade in the charging speed. The new phone can charge at 67 watts in wired mode.
But the good news is that Oppo says that the device can reach from 0% to 50% in just 19 minutes. As for the OS, the Reno11 boots on ColorOS 14 out of the box. And when it comes to the other specs, the device sports NFC support and can run two nano-SIM cards.
