After the launch of the Xiaomi 14 series, It’s time for Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi to launch its own flagships. The brand will soon introduce the Redmi K70 series with three new flagships. These handsets will be the pinnacle of performance for the Redmi brand and will be above and their smartphones for the next few months. After the first teasers from Redmi, the brand has finally confirmed the launch date. The Redmi K70, K70E, and K70 Pro will launch on November 29 in China at 7 PM local time. Besides the launch date, there is a new image that shows the Redmi K70E’s design.

According to the first teasers, the Redmi K70E will bring the all-new MediaTek Dimensity 8300-Ultra SoC. It’s a unique version for Xiaomi, and the teaser also confirms a 5,500 mAh battery with 90W fast charging. It also has a 12-bit 1.5K screen with 1,800 nits peak brightness. The Redmi K70 Pro will carry the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.

For now, the processor inside the Redmi K70 is not disclosed. However, a Geekbench benchmark result teases it will pack the MediaTek Dimensity 8300. The brand will likely keep teasing us with more details ahead of the November 29 launch.
K70E has its design revealed
In addition to the launch date confirmation, we also have some leaked hands-on images of the Redmi K70E. These images were shared on Weibo by the popular leakster Digital Chat Station. The images show the phone’s gorgeous display with minimal bezels and a punch-hole for the selfie camera. As usual, the phone’s chin is thicker, but this does not compromise the design or make it look less interesting. It looks like a beautiful display. According to the teasers, Redmi will equip it with a 1.5K resolution. It will also include 1,920 Hz PWM dimming, 1,800 nits brightness, and an embedded fingerprint sensor as well.
The Redmi K70E is rumored to be the most basic variant in the lineup. So the Redmi K70 should bring superior specifications. We expect Redmi to share teasers for the other higher models in the coming days.
