Samsung has been working on its new flagship mobile phone which is the Samsung Galaxy S24 series. The new phones have passed the necessary certification processes in India, Vietnam and the United States. With this device getting certified in different parts of the world, it is obvious that its launch is imminent. The Samsung Galaxy S24 series includes three models: Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra. According to Sammobile, these models have now passed certification by the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC). This indicates that the new models are ready to be launched in the United States.

The FCC certification reveals the following models

  • SM-S921B: Galaxy S24 (Global version)
  • SM-S926B: Galaxy S24+ (Global version)
  • SM-S928B: Galaxy S24 Ultra (Global version)
  • SM-S921U: Galaxy S24 (US carrier locked version)
  • SM-S926U: Galaxy S24+ (US carrier locked version)
  • SM-S928U: Galaxy S24 Ultra (US carrier locked version)

The global version of the Galaxy S24 series will be sold in Africa, Australia, Europe and Latin America. According to reports on The Verge, the global version of this device will come with the latest Exynos 2400 processor. However, the versions sold in Canada, China and the United States will use Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 For Galaxy processor. No matter which country or region it is in, the Galaxy S24 Ultra will use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 For Galaxy chipset.

The Elec, an authoritative Korean media outlet reported that Samsung plans to release the flagship smartphone Galaxy S24 series in San Jose, California, on January 17 next year. This is about one month earlier than Samsungā€™s usual release time.

Recall that GeekBench has also released the benchmark results for the Samsung Galaxy S24. According to GeekBench, the Galaxy S24 hit a single-core score of 2011 points and a multi-core score of 6086 points. These scores are a healthy increase on the Samsung Galaxy S23, which currently sits at an average of 1,881 and 4,985 for single and multi-core, respectively. However, it falls notably short of the iPhone 15, which scored 2559 single-core and 6375 multi-core.
