Performance Powerhouses: Best Flagship Phones As of November 2023 According to AnTuTu

We’ve recently witnessed the launch of a good number of flagship smartphones. As a matter of fact, a new generation of smartphones started their journey last month. They are powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Dimensity 9300 flagship chipsets. And with that, AnTuTu, a trustworthy benchmarking platform, has released its list of the best flagship phones as of November 2023.

This list of the best flagship phones has nothing but the best-performance phones that you can buy today. But, of course, you need to note that the list is solely based on benchmark scores. And benchmark scores don’t tell you the entire story about smartphones. However, it’s true that AnTuTu’s benchmark score is a good metric for choosing smartphones.

Top Flagship Phones As of November 2023

So, there haven’t been a whole lot of devices with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Dimensity 9300 out yet. For that reason, the list of the best flagship phones shared by AnTuTu also includes last-generation smartphones. You can check out the picture attached below to get a quick look at the top-performance smartphones in the market right now.

Best Smartphones As Of November 2023

Red Magic 9 Pro+ Is The No.1 Flagship Phone According to AnTuTu’s Scores

Red Magic 9 Pro

Red Magic phones have always been known as performance-centric devices. And it comes as no surprise that the recently unveiled device is in the top spot. The Red Magic 9 Pro+ has achieved a total score of 2,188,631 in the tests, which makes it beat the other flagships on the market.

On that note, there’s a good reason why this flagship phone has achieved higher scores than the others. The Red Magic 9 Pro+ has one of the most robust active coolers you can find in smartphones. This allows the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 inside to run better. It also lowers the chances of severe throttling during extreme loads.

Vivo X100 Takes the Second Spot On AnTuTu’s List of the Best Flagship Smartphone

The fight between MediaTek’s and Qualcomm’s flagship chipsets has always been a close one. And we see a similar trend with the latest releases. The difference between the Red Magic 9 Pro+ and Vivo X100 is just 4,500 points. That makes the Vivo X100 sit in second place with a total score of 2,184,153 points.

Now, the 4,500 points difference may seem a lot on paper. But in terms of AnTuTu’s benchmarking scores, it’s not really much. To be exact, this shows that the performance of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Dimensity 9300 is comparable. At least, that’s what the current scores are telling us.

iQOO 12 and 12 Pro Achieved the Third and Fourth Spots

iQOO 12

Gizchina News of the week

The recently unveiled iQOO 12 has showcased impressive performance on the AnTuTu benchmarking tool. It got a total of 2,174,484 points, which makes it sit comfortably in the third position on the list. But it’s worth noting that the iQOO 12 has the same chipset as the Red Magic 9 Pro+.

This again shows that robust cooling setups make flagship phones perform their best. But, again, it’s not like that the difference between the devices is massive. They are still very close to each other. So, you won’t be making a mistake by picking iQOO 12 over the Red Magic 9 Pro+ if you like its other features.

Vivo X100 Pro Takes the Fith Spot on AnTuTu’s List of the Best Flagship Phones

It’s surprising to see a Pro model of the same lineup score lower than the base model. And it’s not like that the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro have different chipsets. They have the same MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC. But it seems that the chipsets are tuned differently, which is likely why these two flagship phones have scores that are not so close.

For those wondering, the Vivo X100 Pro achieved a total score of 2,109,880. That means it’s 74,273 points behind the base model. Again, this difference isn’t massive as far as the scoring of AnTuTu goes. But it’s a noticeable difference.

Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro Have the Sixth and Seventh Spots

Xiaomi 14 Design Official

Last month, Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro held the top two spots in AnTuTu’s list of best flagship phones. After all, at that time, they were the only devices with the latest gen chipset. But now that more Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 devices are out, they’ve come down in terms of rankings.

At the current stage, the Xiaomi 14 Pro holds the sixth spot, while the Xiaomi 14 has the seventh spot. This shows that the recently debuted HyperOS isn’t actually optimized yet for performance. If that’s not the case, Xiaomi needs to work a bit in terms of optimizing the chipset.

That said, even with these positions, Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro have made a big leap from the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro. So, the new smartphones are proper successors. As for the scores, the Xiaomi 14 scored 2,004,263, while the 14 Pro got 2,006,861.

Other Smartphones On the List on the List of the Best Flagship Phones by AnTuTu

The other phones on the top 10 flagship phone list by AnTuTu are last-generation smartphones. After all, we only have a handful of smartphones with the latest chipsets. These last three smartphones are as follows:
