To illustrate, with the Stolen Device Protection on, the thieves won’t be able to view passkeys or passwords stored in the iCloud Keychain. They won’t be able to use payment settings or the Apple Card.
In addition, the Stolen Device Protection feature ensures that there’s a one-hour delay before an Apple ID password can be changed. Thanks to this, it becomes easier for the victim to report that their phone is missing and can get it locked.
