The vivo X100 series is now officially available in the international markets. However, vivo hasn’t shared details on which specific regions the smartphones are available in. Also, we still don’t know the pricing information of the devices. But all those pieces of information should come out soon.
For those unaware, the vivo X100 series made its official debut in the Chinese market back in November of this year. The lineup consists of two smartphones: the X100 and the X100 Pro. Both of them are the pioneers of the new Dimensity flagship SoC.
Main Highlights of the vivo X100 Pro
If you’ve missed our original coverage, the vivo X100 Pro is the high-end smartphone of the series. It comes with the Dimensity 9300 SoC under the hood, which makes it capable of delivering smooth performance during intense workloads.
On the front, the X100 Pro comes with a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen that features a 1260p resolution. This LTPO panel can crank up to 3000 NITS peak brightness. It also comes with a variable refresh rate ranging from 1 Hz to 120 Hz, offering smooth visuals and motions.
Moreover, the vivo X100 Pro features 2160 Hz PWM dimming, making the screen comfortable to view in different lighting conditions. As for the camera, the front houses a 32 MP shooter that vivo housed inside a punch-hole cutout. On the back, the smartphone packs a 50 MP IMX989 sensor as the primary sensor.
vivo paired that sensor with an under-floating periscope zoom camera. This zoom camera is also a 50 MP sensor but with a 100 mm lens, f/2.57 aperture, and 1/2.0-inch size. The X100 Pro is the first smartphone to feature the Zeiss APO certification, eliminating the chances of color fringing and blurring on the images.

Other than that, the vivo X100 Pro has a 50 MP sensor as the ultrawide sensor. It also packs the newest 6nm V3 imaging chipset, enhancing the smartphone’s ability to capture images with stunning details.
Battery-wise, the vivo X100 Pro has a 5400 mAh cell that can fast charge at 100-watt in the wired mode. There’s wireless charging support as well. As for the wireless charging speed, it’s at 50 watts.
As for the pricing, the vivo X100 Pro debuted in China with a starting price of CNY4999, around $685. Global pricing is yet to be confirmed.
Main Highlights of the Standard Model
The vivo X100 has the same display specs as the Pro variant. It also comes with the same chipset as the high-end model, which is the Dimensity 9300. But as it’s the base variant of the lineup, some of the specs are slightly watered-down. For example, the camera setup on the back is slightly less capable than the Pro variant.
It comes with the same ultrawide sensor as the vivo X100 Pro, but the primary sensor is a 50 MP unit that’s 1/1.49-inch in size. As for the zoom sensor, the standard model utilizes a 64 MP sensor that’s 1/2.0-inch in size. Also, it doesn’t have the new V3 imaging chipset. Instead, it gets the last-gen V2 chip.
Other than that, the design and the overall aesthetics of the smartphone are the same as the Pro version. As for the pricing, the starting price of the vivo X100 is CNY3999, which converts to $548. Again, the global pricing info isn’t available yet. You can read more about the devices on our in-depth coverage found in this link.
