Motorola’s popular mid-range smartphone series received the Moto G 5G (2023) model this year with compelling specs and affordable pricing. Motorola is working on a new model, Moto G (2024). The new edition had its design revealed through renders shared by OnLeaks in collaboration with MySmartPrice. The new renders confirm the phone’s design with a dual-camera setup and punch-hole display.
Moto G 5G (2024) Renders Confirm Dual-Camera Design, Punch-Hole Display and More
The Moto G 5G (2024) will keep a similar design to its predecessor with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen and a Dual-Camera setup. The device has thin bezels on the sides and top with a slightly thicker thin at the bottom. It has a punch-hole cutout at the top center for the selfie camera. The volume rocker sits on the left side above the power button, doubling as a fingerprint scanner. Moving around to the back, we have a rectangular camera island for the two shooters. There is also an LED Flash helper inside of the camera island. At the back we we can also find the iconic Motorola logo.

The renders don’t come with specifications, but apart from the design elements they confirm the presence of a 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C port, and a speaker grille on the bottom. The Moto G 5G (2024) listed dimensions are 164.4 x 74.9 x 8.2 mm.

The 2024 edition should be a small upgrade over its predecessor. To recap, the Moto G 5G (2023) had a 6.5-inch Display with 1,600 x 720 pixels of resolution. The phone has a 120Hz refresh rate and an 8 MP selfie camera inside of the punch-hole.
Under the hood, the 2023 model had a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ 5G with up to 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of Internal Storage. The dual camera setup has a 48 MP f/1.7 shooter with PDAF and a 2 MP f/2.4 macro camera.
The phone has stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and a USB Type-C 2.0 port. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a 5000 mAh battery with 15W wired charging.
