After introducing the Honor 100 series for the premium mid-range market, Honor is now focusing on its high-end smartphone series. The new flagship devices will come under the Honor Magic6 series and are in development already. Today, the first live photo of the Honor Magic6 Pro appeared on Weibo. The device had its main camera setup revealed and design elements confirmed. The Honor Magic6 Pro will be very similar to its predecessor in terms of design (Source).
Honor Magic6 Pro comes with 100x Zoom and a Triple-Camera Setup
The Honor Magic6 Pro will have a huge circular camera array with three cameras inside. These snappers will be aligned in a triangle formation. The top one will have a periscope lens and there is also “100x zoom” writing next to it. In addition to the live image, there is also a render that explains the overall design of the camera island.

The new live image confirms that Honor will not take major departures with the Honor Magic6 series. Instead, the company will stick with the current design which is good and functional. There will be significant improvements in the camera department and performance. The Honor Magic6 Pro will include the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset under the hood. When it comes to the cameras, Honor will introduce the OmniVision’s new sensor OV50K.
Interestingly, Honor also revealed a new partnership with Porsche Design for an exclusive Honor smartphone. The device will be launched in January 2024, which falls in line with a possible release date for the Honor Magic6 series. We will likely see an Honor Magic6 series phone featuring the Porsche Design.
Right now, Honor is slowly sharing tidbits about its upcoming flagships. We expect the company to begin its marketing campaign very soon as the launch window draws near.
