Gizchina News of the week
The ROG Tessen Mobile Controller has a compact design to improve ergonomics. The handgrips of the controller can also be expanded, therefore, it can also be used on other smartphones. You can extend the handgrips to make them fit on larger devices and connect them via the USB Type-C plug. Interestingly, the ASUS ROG Phone 8 series comes with dual USB Type-C ports. So you can use one for accessories like this one, and the other for charging. If you’re wondering why should you use this controller via the USB port instead of through a wireless connection, it’s because the USB will ensure that there are no lags between inputs.
The upcoming controller is tipped to cost between $139 and $159. ASUS will launch the new ASUS ROG Tessen in January 2023, alongside the new ROG Phone 8 series. The new controller will offer a battery life of about 6 hours in wireless mode. We expect ASUS to share more details about this controller and the ROG Phone 8 series in the coming days. The new gaming devices will arrive during the CES 2024 event.
