OnePlus will soon introduce the OnePlus Ace 3 in China. The cost-effective flagship lineup will soon enter a new generation with the release of this smartphone. Interestingly, the Ace 3 will become the OnePlus 12R for international markets. Ahead of the release which is scheduled for January 4, OnePlus is sharing more details to build the hype for the upcoming release. Today, the company confirmed details about the display, confirming it’s a top-tier panel with high brightness.
OnePlus Ace 3 Had its Display Details Revealed – Coming with LTPO OLED Display
The OnePlus Ace 3’s Display Technology is officially called 8T LTPO. It offers 800 nits of manual brightness and 1,600 nits in Auto Mode. The most impressive characteristic of this display is that it can reach 4,500 nits of peak brightness. The panel also got an A+ mark from the DisplayMate. This is the highest possible evaluation coming from the Display Experts. The panel is expected to come with a 1.5K resolution which is a marketing term for displays with 1,220p resolution. We also expect the panel to house an in-display fingerprint scanner.

The OnePlus 12R will arrive in late January alongside the global variant of the OnePlus 12 flagship. The Ace 3 will boast a metal frame with a frosted glass panel on the back. According to the company, it will stick with the seamless design seen in the OnePlus 12 family. The design has been the same for the past two generations of OnePlus flagships. The differences are minimal. The OnePlus Ace 3 will arrive in Blue and Mingsha Gold Color Options.
One of the teasers also revealed the alert slider will have three modes – Silent, Vibrate, and Ring. OnePlus is once again teasing the alert slider, making sure fans will be certain that this recurring feature will be present on the OnePlus Ace 3. Besides the new smartphone, the company will also introduce the OnePlus Buds 3 TWS earphones.
