Realme 12 Pro Series To Get a Luxe Makeover with a Rolex Edition

Realme 12 Pro Series Rolex Edition

Realme has been teasing a new launch for quite a while now. As for the teasers, it’s mostly about the smartphone line with a flagship-grade camera setup. The teasers have hinted that the lineup will bring a capable telephoto sensor. Well, as the brand has revealed today, the upcoming lineup is the Realme 12 Pro series.

But the flagship telephoto sensor isn’t the only thing that’s exciting about the series. The brand has just unveiled that it has partnered with Rolex. As the latest announcements reveal, this partnership is expected to bring out a custom-designed phone within the Realme 12 Pro series. As you can expect, this variant will be about luxury. To meet that, as the official pictures reveal, it will feature a Blue leather back with gold accents.

Early Info About the Realme 12 Pro Series and the Rolex Edition

Realme is working with Olliver Saveo, in particular. Olliver is an international luxury watch designer with a rich history with Rolex. As you can see from the picture attached below, this collaboration will bring a smartphone that inherits the luxury features of the super-expensive timepieces.

The rest will likely feature a standard design. Besides this collaboration, Realme has only officially offered a hint of the 12 Pro lineup’s camera setup. As mentioned earlier, the series will have a periscope sensor. With this, the upcoming lineup will bring the second Realme phone with a telephoto camera. The GT 5 Pro was the company’s first phone with a periscope sensor.

Other than that, the company has hinted that the Realme 12 Pro series will make its debut on January 28. It’s just a couple of weeks away from today. As far as expected specs go, the lineup will likely have upper mid-range components. That means we may not see it debut with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Instead, the devices may pack the newly released Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, which is a capable SoC. We will update you when Realme offers more information about the lineup.
