Realme will introduce the Realme 12 Pro series in several regions later this month. The 12 Pro will have a telephoto camera, while the 12 Pro+ will include a periscope telephoto camera. The periscope zoom feature will be available on the 12 Pro+ model only, according to the company’s official confirmation. Furthermore, the Realme 12 Pro Series will get a luxe makeover with a Rolex Edition.

It has been reported by multiple sources that the 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B periscope telephoto camera that the Realme 12 Pro+ would sport is something that typically resides on a smartphone in China with a cost of 4,000 Yuan (~$563). However, the aforementioned camera will include a 3x optical zoom, a 6x lossless zoom, and a 120Hz digital zoom, as revealed by Realme China.

On the other hand, According to Realme Espana, the Sony IMX890 50-megapixel main camera with OIS capability will be available on the Realme 12 Pro line. Therefore, it seems that the IMX890 main snapper will be available on both the Realme 12 Pro and 12 Pro+. The two devices will feature an 8-megapixel camera for ultra-wide photos, according to certain sources.

The Realme 12 Pro will include a 32-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom, while the 12 Pro+ will have a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. Regarding selfie pictures, the Pro model will have a 16-megapixel front camera, while the Pro+ will have a 32-megapixel front camera, according to the TENAA listings.

Additionally, it appears that the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 and 7s Gen 2 5G chipsets will power the Realme 12 Pro and 12 Pro+, respectively. A 6.7-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display and a 5,000mAh battery may be attributes of both smartphones. Similar to the Realme 11 Pro series, it seems that the 12 Pro and 12 Pro+ will feature 100W and 67W fast charging, respectively.
