Creative Zen Air Pro

Creative has updated its audio lineup by debuting a couple of new wireless audio accessories. Among them is the Creative Zen Air Pro Bluetooth earbuds, which bring a couple of upgrades over the non-Pro version of the wireless earbuds. A couple of new features align the buds with the high-end options in the market.

The good part is that the price of the new wireless earbuds is still in the affordable range. At least, the Chinese launch price states that the Creative Zen Air Pro is within the budget-friendly range. The earbuds launched at CNY499, which is around $70. Global pricing and availability are yet to be announced.

Main Highlights of the Creative Zen Air Pro TWS Earbuds

There are some good reasons why you might want to consider the Creative Zen Air Pro TWS wireless earbuds. Here’s a quick look at some of the main highlights:

Next-gen Wireless Codecs and High-end Connectivity

The non-Pro version of the wireless earbuds debuted with Bluetooth 5.0, which has been upgraded to Bluetooth 5.3. With this, the Creative Zen Air Pro TWS wireless earbuds bring support for LC3+ and LC3. These are two of the codecs that offer low wireless latency.

But, yes, not all smartphones will have support for these two codecs. For those, the Creative Zen Air Pro wireless earbuds have AAC and SBC. Also, thanks to Bluetooth 5.3, you can expect these buds to deliver drop-free and reliable wireless connectivity.

Advanced Sound Setup of Creative Zen Air Pro

Under the hood, the Creative Zen Air Pro wireless earbuds come with 10 mm dynamic drivers. These are tuned to offer deep bass and detail-rich audio output. To make the audio-listening experience more immersive, the Bluetooth buds come with hybrid Active Noise Cancellation (ANC).

The hybrid nature of the noise cancellation tech makes the Bluetooth earbuds capable of canceling out a wider range of frequencies. As a result, you can expect to get a distraction-free listening experience from the Zen Air Pro. Of course, you would not want to be fully tuned out of the world all the time.

For that reason, the Creative Zen Air Pro also has an ambient mode. This mode is very similar to the transparency mode found in the Apple AirPods. With this turned on, you get to hear more of the environment around you. That basically makes it easier and safer to carry out outdoor activities.

Besides, you have the option to make a good number of adjustments through the Creative app. There are EQ settings to tailor the sound output from the Zen Air Pro. You can also adjust the ANC settings from the app.

Battery Life, Calling Performance, and Design

When it comes to design, Creative has focused on ergonomics. The Zen Air Pro wireless buds are only 5.3 grams in terms of weight. These buds are also tuned to offer a secure and snug fit, allowing you to wear the earbuds for hours after hours without facing any comfort issues.

On that note, the Creative Zen Air Pro can deliver up to 33 hours of battery life after a single charging session. You don’t even need to worry one bit when the battery level goes near 0%. There’s a quick charging feature, which can offer up to one hour of playback with just 5 minutes of charge. Also, the carrying case has Qi wireless charging support.

Call performance of Zen Air Pro

As for the calling performance, the Zen Air Pro earbuds feature a total of six microphones. Creative has also integrated a deep neural network algorithm to ensure that the buds can pick up your voice with low noise and high volume.
