An earlier update mentioned that “Pacman” and “Aerodactyl” were rumored to be the codenames for the phone (2a). However, a subsequent report stated that this device would likely have a codename of “PacmanIND” for India, “PacmanJPN” for Japan, “PacmanEEA” for Europe, and “Pacman” for the global market in four different regions.

This confirms that the Nothing Phone (2a) will be bearing this codename and that its arrival is imminent. Pokémon codenames have long been a feature of the brand’s merchandise, according to relevant news published via the Nothing community. Furthermore, the TDRA authorities in the UAE and the BIS in India have certified this smartphone. In the last few days, the company has released more details, such as PVT unit photos, anticipated specs, storage possibilities, colour schemes, official wallpapers, launch date, and cost.

A few anticipated specifications for the phone (2a) include the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 CPU and a 6.7′′ 1084 x 2412 pixels 120Hz AMOLED display. The camera equips a 50 MP + 50 MP dual-back camera unit as it moves towards it. A 32 MP selfie camera is on the front. The phone packs a 4920 mAh battery. It has two expected RAM/storage configurations: 8GB/128GB and 12GB/256GB. Moreover, the phone (2a) will have two color hues: White and Black. Regarding the launch date, we can expect the launch in the following month. Furthermore, it appears that the product may launch on February 27, 2024.
