Honor finally unveiled its sleek foldable smartphone, the Honor Magic V2 in Europe. Several months after the smartphone’s launch in China, the Honor Magic V2 is finally available in Europe. The company made it clear that the device won’t stay alone for much longer. After all, Honor confirmed the launch of its Honor Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design Edition. To those unaware, this is a special version of the foldable smartphone with a distinct design from Porsche.
The RSR Porsche Design Edition will reach Europe
During the vanilla Honor Magic V2 launch, Honor confirmed the arrival of the Honor Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design in Europe. It’s an interesting confirmation for all lovers of smartphones with unique looks. Usually, when a Chinese brand launches a Special Edition smartphone, it tends to stay exclusive to the domestic market. However, in Honor Magic V2’s case, the special edition is coming to Europe.

The Honor Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design comes in Porsche Agate Grey color. The phone’s body incorporates Porsche’s signature “Flyline”. It describes the way its cars’ rooflines slow downward toward the rear. Furthermore, the RSR comes with a “sports car fiberglass body”. The frame is made from magnesium alloy and the hinge mechanism is made from titanium, the same as the “vanilla” Honor Magic V2.
Honor Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design – Specifications
Apart from the distinct design, the RSR Porsche Design variant has the same specs as the “vanilla”. The phone boasts a Foldable LTPO OLED inner display with 2,344 x 2,156 pixels of resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. The outer display is a 6.43-inch LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the phone has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 with 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of Internal Storage. The phone runs Android 13 with MagicOS 7.2 running atop.
The V2 has a 50 MP main camera, a 20 MP telephoto shooter with OIS, and a 50 MP Ultrawide camera. The device has a 16 MP selfie shooter. The phone comes with Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, a USB Type-C 3.1 port, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The Honor Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design has a 5,000 mAh battery with 66W wired charging.
