Realme is gearing up to introduce the Realme 12 Pro 5G and the Realme 12 Pro+ 5G on January 29 in India. Besides these two smartphones, the lineup will also include the Realme 12 and Realme 12+ under the smartphone series. Today, the Realme 12+ 5G was spotted on the MIIT certification website (Source) and had some of its information revealed.
Realme 12+ Appears on MIIT Certification – Key Specifications Emerge
The Realme 12+ 5G variant recently appeared on NBTC, FCC, DEMKO, and BIS certification websites. The latest development is the phone’s appearance on the MIIT certification website. As per the listing, the Realme 12+ 5G variant has the model number RMX3866. It will feature a design similar to that of the Realme 12 Pro series.

The certification comes with some renders that reveal the phone’s design. Judging by the images, the Realme will follow a uniform design language across the Realme 12 and Realme 12 Pro series. That means that all smartphones will sport the same circular camera module on the rear panel. The difference will be in the camera specifications.
The listing confirms the Realme 12+ will have the Blue Color option and will feature the leather textured rear finish. We can also see a vertical strip in the middle of the back panel. The Realme branding can sits on the bottom left of the rear panel. The Realme 12+ sports a flat edge design and will house the volume rockers and power button along the right edge.
According to the FCC certification, the Realme 12+ 5G draws power from a 5,000 mAh battery and comes with 67W SuperVOOC fast charging. The phone comes with a 64 MP primary camera and an 8 MP ultra-wide camera. It runs on Android 14 with Realme UI 5.0 running atop.
