Honor Magic6 series and Magic V2 RSR Confirmed to Launch Globally at MWC 2024


A few days ago, Honor unveiled the Honor Magic V2 in the European market. The company took the opportunity to tease the special edition Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design which has a unique design that follows the lines of Porsche cars. The company has also been teasing the global launch for Honor Magic6 series recently, and now, we have the global launch date for both products. The Honor Magic6 series and the Honor Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design will be revealed globally during the MWC 2024. The brand will host its event on February 25 at 2 PM local time.

Honor Magic6 and RSR Porsche Design – Key Features

The Honor Magic6 series consists of the Honor Magic6 and Magic6 Pro. Both phones run on the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and have up to 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of Internal Storage. They also share the 6.8-inch Curved LTPO AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 1,800 nits.

The Honor Magic6 Pro has a 180 MP periscope camera, and both smartphones feature 50 MP main cameras. The Pro, however, comes with a variable aperture of f/1.4-2.0. The Honor Magic6 has a 5,450 mAh battery while the Pro has a bigger 5,600 mAh battery. Both devices come with the same 66W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

The Honor Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design is a “sportier” version of the Magic V2 in terms of design. The device is distinct when compared to the regular variant. It also comes only in the highest configuration with 16 GB of Internal Storage and 1 TB of Internal Storage.

While the specifications for the Honor Magic6 series and V2 RSR are known due to their availability in China, the price for global markets is the big question here. We are curious to see how Honor will adjust the pricing of these products for the international market. We will have the full answer in the coming weeks.
