Xiaomi introduced its Xiaomi 14 series in November last year. The lineup brings the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro as flagship smartphones packing high-end specifications like the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. However, we didn’t see the launch of a Xiaomi 14 Ultra to succeed the Xiaomi 13 Ultra in November. That could change soon according to reports from China. The highest offering for the series is rumored to launch in the next month.
To those unaware, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra launched in April last year in China. It came with significant upgrades over the Xiaomi 13 Pro and a robust camera setup tuned by Leica. The smartphone was a hit for Xiaomi, and for that reason, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is highly anticipated. Recently, one of the company’s executives has teased the arrival of the smartphone. Today, a Chinese tipster with a decent track record claimed that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will finally break its cover in the next month.

Xiaomi 14 Ultra (Rumored) Specifications
According to the tipster, the Ultra variant comes with the Leica Summilux lens and is aiming at the end of February. The primary camera of the smartphone will support a variable aperture range of f/1.63 to f/4.0. Furthermore, the new flagship will feature a Sony LYT-900 50 MP camera with a one-inch sensor as its main camera. There will also be a 50 MP periscope telephoto shooter with up to 120mm focal length. The Quad Camera System will also include a 50 MP IMX8-series ultra-wide camera and a 50 MP telephoto camera.
Although multiple leaks have been suggesting the specifications of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, not all details have been confirmed. For that reason, digest the information with a pinch of salt. It is worth noting that the same report claims that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra may come with an under-display camera for the selfie shooter. It wouldn’t be the first in the industry, as ZTE keeps investing in the field. However, it would be good to see one more brand trying to implement this technology.
Under the hood, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and two-way satellite connectivity. It will draw power from a 5,180 mAh battery with support for 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
We expect Xiaomi to start teasing us with more details about the Xiaomi 14 Ultra soon. Until then, we need to digest rumors with a pinch of salt.
