Nothing Phone (2a) Emerges in Benchmark Listing

Two weeks are remaining for the launch of the Nothing Phone (2a). The device is all set to launch on March 5 and Nothing is slowly sharing more details about the phone. Today, the device appeared in an AnTuTu benchmark. It suggests that the device is already in the final testing stages for the release. The benchmarks allow us to learn more about the device’s performance. However, this shouldn’t be compared to real-world performance and usage.

The photo shows the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ in the middle with the Dimensity 7200 and the OnePlus Nord CE 3 at the right. Both devices score lower than the Nothing Phone (2a). Interestingly, Nothing’s new phone sits in the same mid-range department in terms of specifications. Of Course, benchmarks alone can’t say much about the device in terms of real-world performance. However, it’s a good way to see the device’s raw performance for the first time.

The Nothing Phone (2a) has a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution. Under the hood, the phone will have the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 with 8GB/12GB trims and 128GB/256GB of storage. In terms of optics, the device has a 50 MP ISOCELL S5KG9 main shooter, and a 50 MP ISOCELL JN1 ultrawide lens. The Nothing Phone (2a) is also expected to offer 45W fast-charging and boot Android 14 with Nothing OS 2.5 on top.

In terms of pricing, the phone will start at €349 for the basic unit with 8GB/128GB and €399 for the option with 12GB/256GB.
