During MWC 2024, ZTE brought an all-new tablet under its Nubia series. The device is dubbed Nubia Pad 3D II and, as the name suggests, provides a 3D experience to users. It continues the legacy of the first tablet and stands as an eyewear-free 3D tablet. The new model brings 5G connectivity and AI-based enhancements. The company markets it as the “world’s first 5G + AI 3D tablets. The tablet might be an interesting option if you like the 3D viewing experience but can’t deal with the eyewear for using it.
A New Device for Eyewear-free 3D experience
The Nubia Pad 3D II features a 12.1-inch 2.5K screen. It features unique liquid crystal lenses and is powered by integrated image processing algorithms that render 3D images with enhanced realism and natural vibrancy. When compared to the first-generation tablet, the new Nubia Pad 3D II has an 80% increase in 3D resolution and a 100% boost in 3D brightness. It has also comprehensive optimization in 3D crosstalk, 3D color, and 3D power efficiency. As per the company, these elements combined greatly enhance the users’ 3D visual experience.
The tablet is powered by an AI processing engine. Therefore, it comes with AI eye-tracking support that uses high-speed visual sensors and eye-detection algorithms to deliver 3D images. They appear in a more natural and realistic way.

There is also a feature dubbed Super Biomimetic Eye AI engine which offers a 2.5x increase in the optimal 3D shooting range. Moving on, the AI neural network deep learning tech brings life to the Neovision 3D Anytime technology. With a simple click, various forms of 2D content, including pictures, games, and videos, can be transformed into eyewear-free 3D visuals.
ZTE Nubia Pad 3D II Technical Specifications
The 12.1-inch Display comes, in fact, with 2,560 x 1,600 pixels of resolution. It’s an IPS LCD screen with a 144Hz refresh rate and 16:10 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the tablet is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 platform with 512 GB UFS 4.0 storage and LPDDR5X RAM. There are dual 13 MP rear cameras and dual 8 MP front cameras. The tablet also comes with Quad Stereo Speakers and DTS:X ultra for immersive 3D sound effects. In terms of connectivity, it comes with 5G, Dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Type-C port. The tablet has a 10,000 mAh battery with 66W fast-charging support.
