iQOO Pad Air Launches as an Affordable Gaming Tablet with 44W Fast Charging

iQOO Pad Air Launch

There are not a lot of affordable tablets out there that can deliver a good gaming performance. Most of the budget-friendly options either come with an entry-level or lower mid-range SoC. Well, if you were looking for something that can deliver good performance but won’t break the bank, you would want to consider the iQOO Pad Air.

The tablet made its Chinese debut last month, and now, it’s likely heading towards the international markets. Wondering what really makes the pad stand out from the other affordable options? It’s the processor. While most of the budget-friendly tablets come with low-power MediaTek Helio SoC, this one packs the Snapdragon 870. Yes, that processor from Qualcomm is a bit dated at the moment. But it was a flagship during its time, which means you will still get good performance while running games on it.

Main Highlights of the iQOO Pad Air

It’s not just the Snapdragon 870 that makes the iQOO Pad Air worth the purchase. iQOO has paired that SoC up with up to 12 GB of RAM, which is more than enough to run resource-intensive apps and games. You don’t need to worry much about the storage aspect either. The tablet maxes out at 512 GB, which is plenty for storing multiple large-sized files.

Besides, the Pad Air equips a large-sized 8500 mAh batter that can offer 44W of flash charging. So, you don’t need to stay stuck near the wall outlet while gaming either. Speaking of gaming, the tablet comes with a rather large-sized display on the front.
