Now, there is more official information which reveals more about the Galaxy A35 5G. German online retailer Otto recently put the Galaxy A35 5G on the shelves in advance. The announcement also reveals the complete specs and confirms some details of this device.

According to Otto’s listing, this mobile phone will support 4 major Android version updates. Since this device will come with Android 14, this means that the Galaxy A35 5G will get up to Android 18.  In addition to the four years of major updates, this device will also get five years of security updates. Samsung plans to release the Galaxy A35 5G and Galaxy A55 5G on March 11, 2024.

The Otto sales page also reveals some hardware details of this device. According to the listing, this device will come with the Exynos 1380 SoC. In terms of colour options, the page reveals that this device will be available in four colours including ice blue, lemon yellow, lavender and navy blue.

With regards to the price, the sales page shows that there will be two models for users to make a choice. As usual, both models will not have the same price tag. The 8GB + 128GB will sell for 379 euros ($414) while the 8GB + 256GB was listed for 449 euros ($491). From the price tags of these models, we can tell that they are pretty affordable mid-range devices. The current status of this device on Otto’s website is “In Stock”. A recently leaked promotional image reveals that the Galaxy A35 5G will feature a modern design with a Key Island design on the frame. The devices are expected to have a triple camera setup similar to the Galaxy S24 series, with a unique bulging island on the side frame housing the power and volume buttons. The phones will sport a centrally-located punch-hole camera and a relatively thick chin at the bottom. The colour options for the Galaxy A35 include Awesome Lilac, Awesome Navy, Awesome Ice Blue, and Awesome Lemon, while the Galaxy A55 may come in lime colour.

The Samsung A34 5G comes with 5G and Wi-Fi 5 connectivity, while the successor Galaxy A35 5G phone supports 5G and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity. This new mobile phone will come with an Exynos 1380 processor. The NPU increased by 81%, the GPU increased by 15%, and the CPU increased by 18%. In comparison, the Samsung Galaxy A34 comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 6nm processor.

In terms of storage combination, Galaxy A35 5G is available in 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB models, supporting MicroSD expansion up to 1TB. Just like its predecessor, the Galaxy A35 uses a 6.6-inch super AMOLED display. It supports FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and 1000 nits (HBM), with a peak brightness of 1650 nits.

As an upgraded version, this device no longer uses the U-cut groove design (water drop shape). However, it uses the Infinity-O design (punch hole). At the rear, the brand has once again retained the triple camera unit. It also comes with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 5MP macro lens. The main camera has been upgraded to a 50MP OIS camera that supports super HDR video. The selfie camera is 13MP.
