Vivo has just confirmed the launch of its new Vivo X Fold3 series. The company’s next range of foldable smartphones will finally debut in China on March 26th. The company will also bring its new Vivo Pad3 Pro tablet and the Vivo TWS 4 ANC to the stage.
Vivo X Fold3 series and More Vivo Devices to Launch on March 26 in China
The company’s Vice President and General Manager of Brand and product strategy Jiajing Dong revealed that the X Fold3 series will be the brand’s first foldable with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. It is worth noting that Vivo will keep this lineup’s legacy of bringing some of the largest foldable displays. The Vivo X Fold3 is rumored to come with an 8.03-inch Samsung E7 screen. The Phone will continue the Vivo and ZEISS partnership and bring the Zeiss T* Lens. The phone will include a 50 MP Main camera, 64 MP periscope telephoto lens, 50 MP Ultrawide Camera, and Vivo’s self-developed V3 imaging chip.
The Vivo X Fold3 series will bring the Kaiyu Architecture, Vivo’s fancier name for the phone’s solid build. There will be improvements in the build to keep the inner screen and the outer screen reliable and ensure that every part of the phone is durable. The handset will come with an IPX8 rating for water resistance.
The foldable smartphone will also include a 6.53-inch FHD+ AMOLED outer display with 120 Hz refresh rate. It will come with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1 TB UFS 4.0 Storage. The phone will run OriginOS 4 based on Android 14. There will be a 32 MP front-facing snapper for selfies and video calls. Vivo Pad and Vivo TWS 4
Besides the new foldable smartphone, Vivo will also launch its new Vivo Pad3 Pro with multiple improvements over its predecessor. As usual, the tablet’s focus is on productivity and performance. It will bring a huge 13-inch 3.1K Display with a 144 Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the tablet carries the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC like the Vivo X100 Pro. It runs Origin OS 4 based on Android 14. The tablet will also pack an 11,500 mAh battery, and 8 speakers and will include support for Vivo Smart Keyboard 3 Pro, and Vivo Pencil2. For those unaware, the Dimensity 9300 is MediaTek’s high-end chipset with four ARM Cortex-X4 cores for extreme performance.
The company will also present the Vivo TWS 4 earbuds. They will feature the first ceramic tungsten acoustic diaphragm, which is considered a major “milestone for the TWS series”. It will offer support for 44db, ANC, AI Vocal enhancement, ambient sound transmission, and wind noise resistance.
The Vivo TWS 4 Hi-Fi version will feature the third-generation Qualcomm S3 Audio Platform. It supports 44ms low latency, AI fit detection, and weighs just 4.8 grams per bud. The earbuds are said to weigh just 4.8 grams per bud. They will come with 45 hours of total and 11 hours of standalone battery life.
