According to fresh certifications, it seems like Honor is cooking new smartphones for the global market. For those unaware, the smartphone company launched the Honor 100 series last year. Now, Honor seems to be working on the updated version of the number series. The new certification comes from UAE suggesting an imminent launch of Honor 200 Lite.
The last year’s Honor 100 series consisted of only two models: the standard and the Pro. However, this time around, we may see not two but three models since the certification is done for a new Lite version. The Honor 200 Lite carrying the model number LLY-NX1 has been certified by TRDA (Telecommunications and Digital Regulatory Authority) in the United Arab Emirates.
The certification that was revealed by TheTechOutlook does not reveal anything except the name and model number of the device. Hence, we still do not have any information regarding the specifications of the device. Let’s check out what the previous series featured so we can get an idea of what to expect from the Honor 200 lineup.

Honor 100 Series Highlights
The Honor 100 series was aimed at an upper high-end smartphone market. The phones carried exceptional OLED displays with 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh, and also high brightness. The phones also utilized high-end processors such as the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor and the Pro powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.
In the camera department, both phones featured a 50MP primary OIS sensor with a 12MP ultrawide shooter while the Pro has an extra 32MP telephoto lens. Moreover, both phones have a 5000mAh battery with 100W fast charging, while the Pro also features wireless charging.
That said, the Honor 100 series featured two high-end smartphones. However, the certifications for the Honor 200 lineup suggest there will be a more affordable option. The Honor 100 series features a mix of good performance and display. Hence, we expect it to reflect on the upcoming sibling. However, the Lite version will keep some compromises to lower the costs. We hope to see the device being unveiled soon as it is typically done not so long after certifications. Stay tuned for further updates.
