We’ve seen the launch of a good number of open ear earbuds. It seems like more and more brands are hopping on board to popularize this type of earbuds. Some are even bringing out multiple models. For example, Baseus has already launched two pairs of AirGo buds in the past few months. Now, it has introduced the Baseus AirGo 1 Ring.
While the Baseus AirGo 1 Ring hold onto the same open ear concept as the others, the earbuds have an interesting design take. It sits like a ring, much like the recently launched Bose Ultra Open earbuds. But like Bose’s offering, the new Baseus buds are on the affordable side. They are currently available in China for CNY 138, which is around $20.
Main Highlights of the Baseus AirGo 1 Ring
It’s not just the ring-like design that makes the AirGo 1 Ring open earbuds worthy of attention. The buds pack a good number of features. For starters, it can deliver a 360-degree surround sound effect. Baseus managed to offer that with 12 mm dynamic drivers and spatial sound tech. This effect aims to offer an immersive and more realistic listening experience.
Gizchina News of the week
While the AirGo 1 Ring are open ear earbuds, Baseus ensures minimal sound leakage through directional audio transmission. I’ve experienced something similar with the OneOdio OpenRock S, and it works flawlessly. This design aspect allows the buds to deliver detail-rich audio without sacrificing comfort.
The battery life of the Baseus AirGo 1 Ring is also great. After a full charge, the buds can deliver 6 hours of runtime. With the charging case, you can get up to 25 hours of battery life, which is pretty great. Other aspects of the earbuds include Bluetooth 5.3 for reliable wireless connectivity, a lightweight build, and low-latency audio transmission. There’s also Baseus Smart Dual Connect technology for keeping the buds connected to two devices at the same time.
