Lately, we have seen smartphone manufacturers also focusing on tablets. iQOO is also among them; the Chinese company recently launched the iQOO Pad Air in its home country. Now it seems like there will be no slowing and another tablet will make an appearance soon. The iQOO Pad 2 has surfaced online in certifications hinting possibly imminent launch but also the charging speed of the tablet. Moreover, it seems like the iQOO Pad 2 will focus on the high-end tablet market.
The original iQOO Pad was released last year around May. As it reaches its first anniversary, it seems like its successor may be on its way. The iQOO Pad came with a high-performance MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ processor. Moreover, it also featured a 144Hz buttery smooth display. Hence, the tablet attracts gamers who want to enjoy their gaming sessions with a buttery smooth experience. With the news of the successor being certified, we hope to see that it follows in the footsteps of the original one. Let’s explore the available information regarding the upcoming tablet.
Gizchina News of the week
According to Ithome, a new tablet has made its appearance on 3C’s database. The tablet is listed under Vivo with model number iPA2475. As you can see in the certification, there is no mention of a particular name. However, the model number iPA2475 is being speculated to be the iQOO Pad 2.
iQOO Pad 2 can be inspired from Vivo Pad 3 Pro
For now, the iQOO Pad 2’s certification only reveals that it may feature a 66W fast charging charger. For a comparison, the original iQOO Pad came with 44W fast charging, hence it already seems to be an upgrade. Also, the original iQOO Pad was quite identical to the Vivo Pad 2. Hence, there is a chance that the iQOO Pad 2 shares some similarities with the upcoming Vivo Pad 3 Pro. If this comes out to be true, expect a Dimensity 9-series chipset and 144Hz LCD panel with 3.1K resolution.
The Vivo Pad 3 Pro is scheduled to launch on March 26 in China. Hence, we can get more information on what to expect from iQOO Pad 2 on that day.
