The leak comes from a reliable tipster Digital Chat Station. The tipster posted that the Xiaomi Mix Flip will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. This means it will be made for the premium flagship market. Moreover, the main display of the flip phone will have narrow bezels and will also feature a single punch-hole notch housing a selfie shooter. On the back side, there will be an outer display referred to as a ‘full-size screen’ by the tipster. It essentially means that the cover display may cover almost half of the backside. On the rear, the device may get a dual camera setup.
The tipster further included that there will be a battery capacity of 4,800mAh/4,900mAh. However, the design of the Xiaomi Mix Flip will still be kept sleek and slim even with a big battery. In any case, flip-style smartphones should always look sleek, and beautiful but not bulky. The processor being speculated is the Snapdragon 8 Gen3 meaning a premium price tag. Hence, it will be battling against the top flip phones, like the Galaxy Z Flip5.
