The teaser was shared on Twitter with a video that suggests a “new power” is coming to India. Right now, there is no clue about the naming of the new smartphone. Due to the “Power” in the teaser, we expect the device to be slightly focused on offering performance.
Realme GT6 set to launch soon
Right now in India, the most popular Realme smartphone series include the Narzo series, the numbered series, and the GT series. We are curious to see how the new lineup will fit in this competitive market. Talking about the GT series, the Realme GT6 is expected to launch soon in India. The device appeared on India’s BIS certification website with the RMX3851 model number and on Indonesia’s Telecom listing with the Realme GT 6 moniker.
Gizchina News of the week
The same phone appeared on the Geekbench database with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. The SoC features 1 x ARM Cortex-X4 prime clocked at 3.01 GHz, 3 x ARM Cortex-A720 cores at 2,61 GHz, and 4 x ARM Cortex-A520 cores at 1.84 GHz. The graphic tasks are covered by the powerful Adreno 735 GPU.
The chipset will pair with up to 16 GB of RAM. The listing further confirms Android 14 straight out of the box. The FCC certification confirms the Realme GT6 will come with a dual-cell battery with a rated capacity of 2,680 mAh. We believe that Realme will market this battery as 5,500 mAh.
One plausible theory is that the new device in question is the Realme GT 6. The GT series is not exactly new to India, but the Realme GT 6 would be new to the market. Moreover, the recently released Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 would represent well the term “a new power” used here. Of Course, this is just speculation at the point and we need to wait for Realme to close this puzzle. The company is also planning to launch a Realme GT Neo 6 SE, and we have been seeing details about it in the past few days.
