Redmi is all set to launch multiple products on April 10. The main highlight of the April 10th event will be the Redmi Turbo 3 smartphone. But that’s not all; Redmi has also announced the launch of a tablet on the same date. The Chinese company has officially announced the release of the Redmi Pad Pro. The company has revealed the design language, color options, and accessory support for the tablet. Let’s check out what we know about the Redmi Pad Pro so far.
To recall, Redmi has two tablets currently: Redmi Pad and Redmi Pad SE. Now, the latest one Redmi Pad Pro seems to be the most high-end one in the lineup. The official poster spotted by Ithome reveals that the Redmi Pad Pro will have two camera rings on the rear side. It boasts a sleek, elegant design with symmetrical bezels and a top-mounted selfie camera. We can also see that there is a USB-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack on the top corner of the tablet.
Gizchina News of the week
Redmi Pad Pro will support multiple accessories. It has a support for keyboard and stylus accessory which will make the Pad Pro a versatile device. There will be three color options for the Pad Pro including black, white, and violet. Finally, the poster confirms HyperOS for the upcoming tablet.
Redmi Pad Pro might get rebranded under POCO branding
This is everything that we can interpret from the official poster. As for the global release, we are anticipating it to be launched under POCO branding in the global market. The Redmi Turbo 3 is rumored to come as POCO F6 in the global market, and hence it makes sense that the Redmi Pad Pro will also get rebranded. Previously, a POCO tablet surfaced on the certifications site, and also a stylus accessory was approved by FCC authority. Hence, it is highly possible that we are going to get a POCO Pad as well. That said, we will have more information regarding the Redmi Pad Pro and other devices on April 10.
