Redmi has recently announced a new tablet for its lineup. Called the Redmi Pad Pro, the new tab is about to make its global debut in China tomorrow. Hours before the official unveiling, the company shared some core specs of the device. We also got to know other specs from a well-known tipster.
Redmi Pad Pro Could Be a Great Affordable Android Tablet
So, Redmi has officially revealed that the Pad Pro will be coming with a 2.5K screen. This display will be flagship-grade and will offer a 120 Hz refresh rate, leading to smooth motions. The company has also confirmed that the display will have high-end eye-protection tech, which will aim to offer comfortable viewing during prolonged periods.
Besides the screen, the Redmi Pad Pro is confirmed to come with a 10000 mAh battery. This is a reasonably large battery for a tablet, and it should lead to good runtimes after a full charge. Also, as it can charge at 33 watts, it won’t take long to get the battery from 0 to 100%.
Gizchina News of the week
The rest of the details come from Digital Chat Station, a well-known tipster with a solid track record. According to the report, the upcoming Redmi Pad Pro will feature Snapdragon 7s Gen 2. This isn’t the fastest mid-range processor out there, but it still has what it takes to handle most tasks without any issues.
Digital Chat Station has also shared that the Pad Pro will bundle with a stylus pen. With this, Redmi is targeting digital artists and those who like to take notes with tablets. As you may have expected, the tablet will run HyperOS based on Android 14 out of the box.
But with HyperOS, there will be several enhancements on the Redmi Pad Pro. All these make the upcoming device stand strong as an affordable tablet. The company just needs to price it right.
