Realme Pad 2 WiFi version debuts as new affordable Android tablet

Realme Pad 2 WIFI

Realme Pad 2 launched last July as a good option for those looking for an affordable Android tablet. However, it seems the company wasn’t satisfied with its value proposition. It has just introduced the WiFi variant of the tab, which naturally means a lower price tag than the regular version.

While Realme is yet to announce the price of the WiFi variant, the regular version started at around $215. The new Pad 2 without the LTE connectivity should be lower than that, likely around $180. Now, while it may be an affordable tab, the specs are good for the price.

The Realme Pad 2 WiFi Should be Under Your Radar If You Don’t Need LTE Connectivity

One of the main highlights of the Realme Pad 2 is the screen. As the company says, it’s the smoothest display that the brand has integrated into a tablet. More specifically, it’s a 2K panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate. These specs mean the screen will not only offer crisp visuals but also fluid motions.

The display also has support for an adaptive refresh rate and features a peak brightness rating of 450 nits. Also, as the screen is 11.5-inch in size with an 85.2% screen-to-body ratio, you can expect to get an immersive viewing experience. But it’s not just the screen of the Pad 2 that’s good.

It also comes with a capable mid-range processor. To be specific, the Realme Pad 2 features Helio G99, which is paired with up to 8 GB of RAM on the LTE model. The same is expected for the WiFi variant. Besides, the table is confirmed to feature an 8360 mAh battery with 33W SUPERVOOC support.
