With the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, Xiaomi completed the Xiaomi 14 series and is ready for the next step. That new step will certainly come from the Xiaomi T models that come every Fall. The Xiaomi T-series is well known for bringing high-end specifications, but that still doesn’t make these devices the most premium. They are almost cost-effective flagships with some extras to make it stand against the usual. This year, Xiaomi is set to introduce the Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro and a new leak comes with some information about them.
Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro – First Specs Appear
The new leak brings fresh information about these two upcoming smartphones. According to the report, the Xiaomi 14T Pro will be based on a forthcoming K70 Redmi Ultra variant that will reach the Chinese market. However, this won’t be a straight rebranding. The Xiaomi 14T Pro will be based on the K70 Ultra, but will still bring some upgrades that will make it an improved version.
Gizchina News of the week
The Xiaomi 14T Pro will feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC. The 14T Pro will have wireless charging for the first time in the T-series and a telephoto camera on the back. These two features will be missing from the K70 Ultra, which will have a macro camera instead of a telephoto shooter. The 14T Pro will bring Leica co-branding like its predecessor. Meanwhile, the K70 Ultra will skip these improvements for a cheaper price.
The Xiaomi 14T series will sell in Europe, Japan, and other markets except for India. It is worth noting that this is the usual availability, so the report confirms the usual. While the Xiaomi 14T Pro will bring the most powerful chipset from MediaTek, the vanilla is likely to use a Dimensity 8000 series SoC. The two devices are likely to differ in the charging tech too. The Xiaomi 13T Pro got 120W charging, while the vanilla had 67W. Also, the vanilla 14T is likely to skip the wireless charging tech.
We are still a bit far from the expected release for the Xiaomi 14T series. Therefore, we expect more details to emerge in the coming weeks.
