The iQOO Z9 Turbo is set to launch in China on the coming April 24th. While the company has already shared some key specs on the phone, it has left out a couple of details. Well, just days before the official unveiling, we got a detailed leak on the smartphone.
This report comes from Ishan Agarwal, a known tipster with a good track record. The tipster has shared all the core specs of the iQOO Z9 Turbo, along with two more phones that the company is about to release in China. And from the report, the Redmi Turbo 3 competitor is looking to be a solid Android smartphone.
Tipster Details Core Specs of iQOO Z9 Turbo, Z9x, and Z9
First, let’s go over the iQOO Z9 Turbo, which is going head to head against the recently released Redmi Turbo 3. The report says that the phone will be featuring the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, which the company has already confirmed. It also says that the Android phone will have a 1.5K screen with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 6000 mAh battery. These specs were already confirmed by the brand, and the fact that they match the report adds credibility to it.
But the report from Ishan Agarwal isn’t just about the specs already confirmed by the company. It also goes over the specs that iQOO is yet to talk about. That includes the size of the display, which, according to the report, is 6.78 inches. Ishan has also talked about the secondary camera on the back, which will likely be an 8 MP ultrawide. And on the front, the Z9 Turbo is said to feature a 16 MP sensor.

Besides, Ishan’s report sheds light on the storage and RAM of the iQOO Z9 Turbo. It says that the upcoming affordable flagship will have LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0 ROM. Both are flagship-grade and should make the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC perform well when handling resource-intensive apps.
The last highlight of the report is the battery of the iQOO Z9 Turbo. It says that the phone will come with a 6000 mAh cell, which matches what iQOO has already announced. But Ishan has revealed that the smartphone could have 80-watt fast charging support. This would allow the device to go from 0% to 100% quick.
About the Other Phones Described In the Report
As mentioned earlier, the report has gone through two more iQOO Z9 phones that are to be launched in China. The first is a standard model that the report says will have the same screen as the Turbo model. Ishan says that the phone will feature a 50 MP primary sensor with a 2 MP portrait camera.
As for the processor, the iQOO Z9 could come with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, which will be paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. And the battery of the phone will reportedly be the same capacity as Turbo but with 40-watt fast charging support.
The third phone is the iQOO Z9X, which the report says will share the same camera setup, RAM, memory, and battery specs as the regular Z9. But for display, Ishan says that it will have a 6.72-inch LCD screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The chipset will reportedly be a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1. These specs would make the Z9X an entry-level, the Z9 a mid-range, and the Z9 Turbo an affordable flagship.
