Recently, Huawei announced that their beloved P series lineup will have a new Pura branding. Now, the latest Huawei Pura 70 lineup has arrived featuring four new smartphones. The lineup includes the Pura 70, Pura 70 Pro, Pura 70 Pro+, and Pura 70 Ultra. In this article, we will focus on the standard and Pro models. Design
The Pura 70 series brings a new design language. A triangle-shaped camera module is present on the rear side. The design of the camera module makes the Pura 70 series stand out from other smartphones.
The vanilla version has a flat design, while the Pro models feature slightly curved edges. The Pura 70 weighs 207 grams, while the Pro model weighs 220 grams.Ā There are various color options available for each phone.
Display
The Pura 70 sports a 6.6-inch screen. While the Pro models get a bigger 6.8-inch screen. All three models feature OLED screens with a 1-120Hz LTPO adaptive refresh rate with a 1-120Hz LTPO adaptive refresh rate, 1440 Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and 300 Hz touch sampling rate. For protection, the company has used the second-gen Kunlun Glass.

The Huawei P series was known for its high-end camera capabilities; therefore, we can expect the same with the new Pura phones. The Pura 70 comes with a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP primary, 13MP ultrawide, and 12MP periscope telephoto lens. For selfies, there is a 13MP shooter resting in a punch-hole notch.
The Pura 70 Pro and Pro+ have the same camera setups. They feature a 50MP primary, 12.5MP ultrawide, and 48MP macro telephoto lens. With the XMAGE system, Huawei ensures high camera capability with its Pura 70 lineup. All three models are capable of variable aperture ranging from f/1.4 to f4.0.
Performance & Battery
The Huawei Pura 70 Pro and Pro Plus are powered by the Kiron 9010 chip featuring the Maleoon 910 GPU. While the standard version gets the Kirin 9000S1 chip, which is an underclocked version of the Kirin 9000S chip. Moving to the battery segment, the standard Pura 70 has a 4900mAh battery with 66W wired fast charging support and 50W wireless charging. Both Pro phones have similar battery capacities and charging speeds. The Pro models gets a 5050mAh battery capacity with 100W wired fast charging and also a support for 80W wireless charging.
Pricing
