Redmi Note 13 Series Gets HyperOS Update in India

Fans are eagerly waiting for Xiaomi’s new custom skin on their smartphones. The tech giant is slowly releasing the new update in batches, and the latest one to get is the Redmi Note 13 series in India. The company has announced that the Redmi Note 13 series will start getting the HyperOS update.

For those unaware, the Redmi Note 13 series consists of theĀ Redmi Note 13,Ā Redmi Note 13 Pro, andĀ Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus. These smartphones came out with MIUI based on Android 13. Redmi India has now announced that the series is getting the latest software with the HyperOS update based on Android 14. Do note that this update will be done in batches, hence it may take some time for all users to receive the update. That said, let’s check some of the highlights of the HyperOS.

This is a new feature coming with HyperOS. The purpose of Comprehensive Refactoring is to optimize performance for a better user experience. With small tweaks such as better task scheduling, the tasks are distributed in a much better way that enhances performance. All of these optimizations will play a big role in demanding tasks like gaming.

Better Customization

MIUI was already serious about customization and HyperOS follows in the same footsteps. With HyperOS, there are more enhanced customization options. For example, users can make their all-new personalized lock screen.

New Animations & More

The new skin also brings improvements to the control center. Moreover, HyperOS brings interactive notifications, new app icons, and even an improved File Manager app. Also, Xiaomi has done some work for its new animations. This time they have made the animations lighter and more responsive.
