Nokia 225 4G 2024 Design Revealed In New Leak


Nokia 225 4G 2024 is the upcoming feature phone from HMD Global. As the company is on the move to focus on more HMD-branded phones, it still releasing some models with Nokia’s branding. Thanks to a recent leak, we now have a glimpse of the upcoming phone’s appearance. Moreover, we also have information regarding the color options.

The leak comes from Onleaks (via AndroidHeadlines) that reveals the front and rear sides of the Nokia 225 4G. There are two color options for the phone including a pink and a dark greenish-blue option.

The phone doesn’t offer anything revolutionary. It looks like a typical feature phone with a single rear camera on its rear. The phone looks clean but has the branding of Nokia and HMD.

On the front side, it is also a typical 2.4-inch display with a keypad. Talking about the internals, the phone features 128MB of storage and 64MB of RAM. There is a  1,450mAh capacity battery that will keep the phone running. Regarding the software, the phone will have HMD’s own S30+ operating system. Other noteworthy stuff includes a USB-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Pricing and availability

With the leaks emerging, the launch of the Nokia 225 4G 2024 seems imminent. As for the availability, we expect it to be launched in Europe and Africa as there is more demand for these phones compared to the US. Talking about the price, the phone can come with a price tag of €100 which translates to $106. That said, HMD is still producing feature phones with Nokia’s branding. However, it would be much better if the company was able to innovate and bring something spicier to the feature phones market. Recently, the company unveiled the Boring Phone which is not a commercial phone, but I liked the unique design language and it will be interesting if HMD can bring something similar in the future.
