Stable Xiaomi HyperOS update drops for two popular phones from 2021

Xiaomi is slowly rolling out the HyperOS update for all the devices it had in plans for Q2 2024. Recently, the Xiaomi 11 Pro and 11 Ultra got the internal testing version of the Android update. Now, both devices have received the stable version.

One thing to note about the Xiaomi 11 Pro and 11 Ultra is that they are flagships from 2021. Given how good of specs both smartphones brought for the money, they are still in the hands of many users. So, it’s definitely good to see them receiving the Xiaomi HyperOS update.

What Other Old Smartphones Will be Getting the New HyperOS Update?

Xiaomi plans to roll out the HyperOS update to a good number of old devices within Q2 2024. Besides the Xiaomi 11 Pro and 11 Ultra, the company has already rolled out the stable update to the Mi 10 series. That lineup has phones from 2020, which really shows how dedicated the company has become in terms of software support.

Besides that, the company had Redmi K50i, Mi 11X, 11 Lite, Redmi 11 Prime 5G, and the entire Note 11 series in plans for the Q2 2024 rollout. Most of these devices have already received a stable HyperOS update. The ones that haven’t received it yet are running the internal test version, so they will get the update soon.

The good part about the Xiaomi HyperOS update about the old devices is that it brings pretty much everything you will find in the company’s current flagships. That includes performance and system optimizations for a better experience. You also get better security and support for Xiaomi HyperConnect.
