Xiaomi is doing its best to roll out HyperOS to as many devices as possible. Previously, we covered the four-year-old Mi 10 series receiving the HyperOS Update. Now, it’s time for the POCO F4 to get Xiaomi’s latest UI. Below you will find all the details including the updated size, version, and more.

POCO F4 was released back in 2022 and was focused on providing high-end performance. The phone came out with Android 12 out of the box. It also received the MIUI 14 version based on Android 13. Now, the smartphone receives the HyperOS skin with the latest Android 14 update.

The OS 1.0.1.0.ULMMIXM update brings the latest software to the POCO F4. It has a file size of roughly 5GB. Moreover, the update also gives the smartphone the latest April 2024 security patch. This is great news for the POCO F4 users since their two-year-old phone is getting the latest Android version, the latest security patch, and also the latest custom skin from Xiaomi.

It is worth noting that the update is being rolled out to the users signed on to the Mi Pilot platform. There is some time before the update is available for the public.

POCO F4 Highlights

POCO F4 focused highly on the performance department by integrating the Snapdragon 870 chipset. The device also gets a 6.7″ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. For the camera department, the phone features a 64MP primary, 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro shooter. On the front, there is a 20MP camera for selfies.

Moving to the battery department, the phone has a 5000mAh battery with a 67W fast charging solution. Overall, this is a really solid all-rounder smartphone that still packs a punch today.  Now that the phone has received the latest HyperOS Update, it will make the experience of the users even better with more customization options and smoother animations.
