OnePlus Nord 4 Runs Geekbench as it passes by Eurofins certification

OnePlus Nord 4

The OnePlus Nord 4 has been in the rumor mill for quite some time. The device has been rumored to arrive as a rebranded OnePlus Ace 3V, which was released only in China. Back in the last week, rumors emerged confirming the Nord 4 with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3, the same chipset found in the Ace 3V. Today, the OnePlus Nord 4 has been spotted in the Geekbench benchmark, which confirms the chipset.

OnePlus Nord Spotted on Geekbench and Listed on Certification Listing

A smartphone with the model number CPH2621 passed by the Geekbench benchmark. The device is believed to be the OnePlus Nord 4 due to the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 4. The device in question managed a 1,875 single-core score and a 4,934 score in the multi-core department. The tested prototype had 12 GB of RAM, however, we expect more RAM versions to be available upon release. The device runs Android 14 which is hardly a surprise at this point. Of Course, it will have OxygenOS 14 running atop the Nord 4.

The same device went through the Eurofins certification process. The listing confirms a huge battery with a rated capacity of 5,430 mAh. The device will undoubtedly be advertised as having a typical capacity of 5,500 mAh, which is the same as the OnePlus Ace 3V. The only notable difference here is that the new device is confirmed with 80W charging in this certification. This diverges slightly from the 100W charging offered by the OnePlus Ace 3V. However, OnePlus tends to make some adjustments in the charging tech offered in Chinese and Global variants. Perhaps, that will be the case with the OnePlus Nord 4 which will charge slightly slower than the Ace 3V. That is if you consider 80W charging slow.

Gizchina News of the week

North American OnePlus smartphones are also known to come with slower wired charging. Perhaps, this OnePlus Nord 4 variant is going to the US market. After all, it’s a bit strange to see the Nord 4 coming with 80W charging when the recently revealed Nord CE4 comes with faster 100W charging.

Camera Specs

Moving on, the Camera FV5 database confirms the OnePlus Nord 4 will have a 50 MP main camera with Optical Image Stabilization and f/1.9 aperture. Again, this is slightly different than the f/1.8 aperture of the OnePlus Ace 3V’s primary shooter. The device is confirmed with a 16 MP selfie snapper just like its Chinese sibling. It’s unclear when exactly the OnePlus Nord 4 is getting an official release. However, that might happen pretty soon. Due to its similarities with the OnePlus Nord Ace 3V, we know exactly what we can expect.

OnePlus Ace 3V / Nord 4 Specifications

Considering the OnePlus Ace 3V specifications, the Nord 4 likely comes with a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 1,100 nits brightness. The phone comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 with a 4nm manufacturing process. It is an Octa-Core chipset with 1 x ARM Cortex-X4 clocked at 2.8 GHz, 4 x ARM Cortex-A720 operating at 2.6 GHz, and 3 x ARM Cortex-A520 cores at 1.9 GHz. The device comes with up to 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of Storage and the graphical tasks are handled by an Adreno 732 GPU.

In terms of optics, the Ace 3V comes with a dual-camera setup that does the job quite well. Instead of decorative sensors, the phone brings a powerful 50 MP primary camera with OIS and a secondary 8 MP ultrawide shooter. The phone has a 16 MP selfie snapper with 1080p video recording.

The OnePlus Ace 3V aka Nord 4 comes with Stereo Speakers for immersive audio. It has dual-band Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.4 with A2DP, LE, aptX HD, and LHDC codecs. The device comes with GPS, BDS, GALILEO, QZSS, and GLONASS navigation. It also comes with an NFC, IR Blaster, and a USB Type-C 2.0 port. The phone has an under-display fingerprint scanner and a 5,500 mAh battery.
